22/365.
so many people are able to categorize themselves into a specific group that they can be typecast into. big city folk, cow folk, tropical folk, mountain folk, etc, etc.... i however can never seem to choose. perhaps its the pisces woman in me, always able to adapt but honestly, i feel like i can play house in all of those roles, and in fact, kinda already have. from the exotic beaches of rio to the farmlands of colombia, to the mountain ranges of the eastern sierras to the bordering city of san diego, all varied, all home. maybe that's one of the many reasons i have fallen so easily in love with the pacific northwest. it encompasses all of those places, all in one lovely package with any situation within an hours drive away. anywho, the point of the tangent is that i love farms. i love barns and animals and fields and and and..... not putting it lightly, obsessed. and i can guarantee that as i delve further into this whole photography thing, this will not be the last of farmesque things you will see from me! (nor is it the first).... so for this post and the next post i present to you, a most excellent surprise that i found in a field in oak harbor, washington.

why i am even continuing to post these as the 365 project i really am not sure. clearly it has gotten away from me. here i am on day 30 and i have only 19 photos, many not posted on a "daily" basis.....hard to believe it only took me a week to get off track. ce la vie. so until i get tired of numbering them and decide to go back to my comfy ways over over wording and over sharing, i will continue to post as such, under the guise of follow through and project success.
this my dears was a series of mailboxes in oak harbor, washington. i like mail boxes. so you will see that the following two posts will also contain mail boxes, but of the out of context variety.

13/365.
alright. well, clearly i am not so good at this whole, committing to a project thingamadooger. i am not sure what my issue is really (a broken camera and using a phone camera may be a factor), but regardless, i just can't seem to post with any sort of consistency. it's a whole lot of nothing followed up with a whole lot of somethings. but for lack of better phrasing and ironic pun intended, that's just how i roll. get used to it. so without further ado, as promised a whole lot of somethings.
